Created in 1973 from a familys dream to build a world-class winery in the heart of Sonoma County, Chateau St. Jean has evolved through the years to become a shining example of a fine wine estate with European style. The hallmark of Chateau St. Jean is balanced and elegant wines that capture the essence of the storied vineyards they hail from. In the California tier, wines showcase vineyards from the finest growing regions statewide, pairing coastal expressions from the north and south to offer everyday wines that are highly accessible, with a signature profile that is distinctly Chateau St. Jean.
Tasting Notes
The French word Bijou means "jewel" and this delightful refreshing , crisp Chardonnay from Chateau St Jean shines. This wine is very slightly oaked letting the core of bright fruit flavors of peach, pineapple and passion fruit hold center stage. This luscious wine pears well with a wide array of foods, or is perfect to sip on it's own.
